We scatter the ashes at one of our preapproved locations in Southwest Florida. We have already earned permission to scatter at locations such as Tropical Paradise by a salt water beach, Peaceful Fishing pond, The Everglades, and a Wildflower Meadow. We can accept ashes shipped by United States Post Office from any location in the United States. We can pick up ashes within a 50 mile radius of Fort Myers, Florida.
Most of our preapproved scattering areas are free. Customers seeking the privacy and services of a Premium Venue may book necessary catering and facilities for ash scattering by hand at some of the most beautiful locations in Southwest Florida. Additionally, for those interested in unique options, we offer drone scattering services. Please see our PRIVATE VENUES page for a list of venues that accept private venue scattering.
The basic unattended scattering, whether it's ash scattering by hand or through our drone scattering services, will not be attended by the customer or guests. You will receive 3-5 photos of the location and an official certificate of the event held at a private venue scattering.
The Hand Scattering Event will be scheduled at a time and date at one of our preapproved scattering locations of your choice, perfect for ash scattering by hand. Customers and immediate family may attend, and you can bring your officiant if desired. You will receive 3-5 photos of the location along with a certificate of the event. While you may not leave memorials at the site, you are welcome to revisit it in the future. Please note that these locations are public natural areas, so parking is limited and there may be no restroom facilities. If you're interested in alternative options, we also offer drone scattering services and private venue scattering for a more personalized experience.
The Priva Scattering Event will be scheduled at a time and date agreeable to the customer, the private venue, and the Ashes to Ashes scattering service. There is no limit to the number of attendees, and you may bring your own officiant. You will receive 3 to 5 photos of the location along with a certificate of the event. The private venue will provide restroom facilities, and you have the option to negotiate additional services with the private venue, such as seating and catering. Please note that private venue scattering fees are separate and above our scattering fee, whether you choose ash scattering by hand or drone scattering services.
The ash scattering drone will be flown by an FAA Part 107 certified drone operator. This service is available at the Wildflower Meadow and the Peaceful Fishing Pond scattering locations only.

The Drone Scattering Event will be scheduled at a time and date at one of our preapproved scattering locations of your choice, perfect for those considering ash scattering by hand or utilizing our drone scattering services. Customers and immediate family members may attend, and you may bring your officiant if desired. You will receive 3 to 5 photos of the location and an official certificate of the event. Please note that these locations are public natural areas, so parking is limited, and there may be no restroom facilities. If you're looking for a more intimate setting, we also offer private venue scattering options.
The Private Drone Scattering Event will be scheduled at a time/date agreeable to the customer, the Private Venue, and our Ashes to Ashes scattering service. You may bring your own officiant for the ceremony. As part of our drone scattering services, you will receive 3 to 5 photos of the location and an official certificate of the event. The private venue will provide restroom facilities, and you may negotiate additional services with the private venue, such as seating and catering, for your ash scattering by hand. Please note that private venue fees are separate and above our scattering fees.

Terms of Service
Ashes to Ashes offers both ash scattering by hand and aerial/drone scattering services. We also provide scattering services for the ashes of pets. Below, you will find a detailed description of all the services we offer.
Bookings are made through our STORE PAGE on this website. Feel free to call us at 239-331-4831 for assistance in making your decision. We accept all major credit cards.
We can arrange for scattering events at private venues with catering and excellent facilities. Please note that a down payment may be required for certain high-demand private venue scattering options.
For shipping cremated remains, you may send them to us after your payment is processed. Visit the SHIPPING PAGE for detailed instructions. We're here to assist you throughout this process. If you would like us to return the empty urn after scattering, there will be a $50 shipping charge. Alternatively, if you prefer not to have the empty urn returned, we will happily donate it to charity at no cost.
We offer free pick-up of cremated remains within a 50-mile radius of Fort Myers, Florida.
Cancellations of services already booked are allowed within 24 hours of the event without any charge. Just notify us via email, and your payment will be credited back in the same manner it was made.
If you need to cancel service after we have received the ashes, we are legally required to return the ashes to you, incurring a $50 return fee that will be deducted from your refund.
Please note that cancellations of service after the ashes have been scattered are not permitted.
Also, cancelling events booked at a private venue with catering and facility charges may result in the forfeiture of the required down payments.
